One of WiseEyes’ nifty time-saving features is “Substitution Braces”.

It allows to dynamically customize a filename, database name, field name, caption or title, parameter value, SQL, etc.

The curly brackets syntax of Substitution Braces is simple and consistent throughout the application, e.g.:

{FIELD RegionName}

{PARAMETER ReportDate}

{PARAMETER _path_Documents} {U+2714}

Values that can be inserted include data values, parameter values, system values (e.g path of documents folder or current time), unicode characters and more.
